In high conflicted situation the children incline to leave the pressure somehow and suffer from disputes of their parents. They love both their parents so much, as you already know. The professionals know that if the parents cannot agree on anything and there raise conflicts between them at every, even a short meeting, it is possible to pass the child at neutral environment. In the court decisions, there are, if necessary, orders that the child should be passed at school or kindergarten. So, one parent takes the child to school in the morning and the second parent picks the child up in the afternoon. It is possible to involve third persons, who are able to offer neutral environment as well (grandparents, family friends).

As direct contact of the parents is minimalized, which is in the best interest of the particular child, therefore the child does not face the heavy conflicts of the parents, this model nevertheless requests the parents to find out a way how to pass information about the children and how to communicate about issues concerning the children and how to get to agreement about important issues.
